Our Projects          & Outreach

Our focus is on eliminating entanglement in active fishing gear of large whales, pinnipeds, endangered Sea Turtles and Basking sharks. We strive to educate our community on human interaction with sensitive groups of at risk species.

We are excited to share our newest technologies with you to help protect marine life.

Line-Less Crab Raft & Line-Less Lobster Raft

The design of our Line-Less gear is essentially the same as what crab and lobster fisherman have always used. We have simply taken the countless feet of lines and buoys and replaced them with inflatable bag technology and GPS for easy tracking.

Our Founder Richard Riels has been all across the globe giving presentations, starting conversations, listening and learning to others on how to best help marine life.

Marine Mammal Collision Avoidance Project

We are currently developing a smart buoy with a large Caution Whale flag, hydrophone, flashing beacon, GPS and wide scanning thermal imaging would provide real time data to mariners with warnings through the Automated Information System (AIS)
