Interoperability Is Here Today.

One System. Multiple Manufacturers.
For the first time in the industry, a single integrated system can operate and mark gear from multiple acoustic manufacturers through one unified interface.
The system connects to a directional acoustic transceiver capable of transmitting commands across compatible acoustic protocols. Rather than requiring separate topside units for each gear type, operators can control deployment, retrieval, and status monitoring from a single integrated platform. This eliminates fragmented control systems and standardizes vessel operations across mixed fleets.

Acoustic Marking Capabilities
Traditional GPS marking records the location where gear enters the water. The interoperable MFD system introduces true acoustic marking.
During descent, the subsea unit communicates with the shipboard directional acoustic transceiver. Using bearing and range data, the system triangulates the actual seafloor position of the gear.
The result is a corrected acoustic position rather than a surface drop estimate. For operators working in high-density areas or precision deployments, this capability significantly improves spatial accuracy and confidence.

Native Raymarine Integration
The system is fully embedded within the Raymarine Axiom chartplotter as a native application. Gear appears directly on the chart as dynamic markers with full waypoint functionality. Marked gear can be used to build routes, set boundaries, generate paths, and remain visible through Raymarine ClearCruise augmented reality overlays. In camera view, operators can visually confirm gear positions relative to the vessel in real time.
By connecting through NMEA and RayNet, this integration transforms acoustic gear control from a standalone device into a seamless extension of the vessel’s navigation system.

Cloud Integration and Fleet Operations
The system integrates with cloud-based gear databases via satellite internet. Gear positions can be uploaded from the vessel and shared across fleets, while cloud-stored gear data can be downloaded and displayed directly on the chart.
For large offshore vessels and multi-boat fleets, this enables consistent gear management without manual data transfer or inconsistent marking methods. This connectivity reduces administrative complexity and increases operational clarity across distributed operations.
